Cookie Policy

This site is in active development
VisibilityIQ is in a testing phase and is not yet open to real users. This document is a placeholder for the testing phase only — it is not a finalised legal agreement. It will be replaced before the service becomes generally available.
The short version
VisibilityIQ uses only essential cookies — the ones needed to sign you in and remember your preferences. We use no tracking, analytics, advertising or third-party marketing cookies. Because nothing we set is optional or used for profiling, there is no consent banner to accept or reject — just a one-time notice telling you what is stored.
What we set
- Authentication — session cookies set by our authentication provider (Supabase) that keep you signed in and refresh your session. Without these you cannot use the app.
- Preferences — a small amount of local storage remembering choices such as your selected theme and whether you have dismissed the cookie notice.
What we do not set
- No analytics or measurement cookies (no Google Analytics or equivalent).
- No advertising, retargeting or conversion-tracking pixels.
- No third-party marketing or social-media cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or behavioural profiling of any kind.
Third parties
The app is served by Vercel and backed by Supabase. These providers may set strictly necessary cookies for security and session handling. They are not used to profile you or to serve advertising.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies above will prevent you from signing in, since the session cannot be maintained.
Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, this policy will be updated and a proper opt-in consent mechanism will be added before any such cookie is set.
